Welcome to SailLaser Scotland, based at Strathclyde Country Park, Scotland’s premier provider of sailing lessons and water sports programmes, operated by LaserPerformance.  We are based in the heart of Scotland, just 20 minutes drive south of Glasgow, and we have excellent transport links. You can even see the Loch from the motorway!

SailLaser’s aim is to provide residents of its local community with increased access to sailboats and sailing lessons, regardless of their age, race, gender, physical ability or economic status.

Our new sailing centre has many objectives, though our primary goal is to teach sailing to the local community through the following programmes:

Community Programmes
We have given ourselves an ambitious challenge to increase participation in Scottish sailing. Our courses provide our local community the opportunity to learn to sail at an affordable rate, gain internationally recognised qualifications and hire their own boats.

Royal Yachting Association Sailing Courses
We want help people to learn to sail, and we offer a variety of RYA sailing courses for all ages and abilities.  Our students range in age from 5 to 75 and include beginners, those with some sailing experience, and even advanced performance racers.  So regardless of your ability level, rest assured, we offer a course to fit your needs.

Race Training Courses
We offer sailboat racing clinics to both aspiring competitors and performance racers, who may not normally seek them out. These courses are coached by GBR’s top coaches.

Access to our Fleet of Boats
We are happy to unveil our JustSail programme within SailLaser Scotland, whose members can hire our fleet of boats at any time.  Now, you don’t need to own a boat to enjoy sailing in our club!

New SailLaser Venues
The successes of our sailing schools in Weymouth and Miami have spurred the creation of more SailLaser teaching centres.  SailLaser Southern California will join Scotland in opening this year.  Additionally, more locations are planned to open in the coming years.

Demo Centre and New Boat Collection Point
All LaserPerformance products can be purchased and collected from our waterside location in Strathclyde Country Park.  You can also try before you buy with free boat demos and the help of our approachable experts.
