We are conveniently based in Orange Park at the Fleming Island Marina, just of US Highway 17. SailLaser is Jacksonville’s premier sailing facility operated by LaserPerformance, the producers of the Laser, Sunfish and many other popular sailboats. Located on the beautiful St. Johns River in North Florida, our Center provides an incredible view of this fantastic waterway, only minutes from Green Cove Springs, Orange Park and downtown Jacksonville.

SailLaser’s aim is to provide residents of its local community with increased access to sailboats and sailing lessons, regardless of their age, race, gender, physical ability or economic status.

Our new Center has many programs, including:

Sailing Courses: We follow US Sailing teaching and coaching fundamentals and our key staff are US Sailing Instructor Certified. We offer a variety of courses for all ages and abilities. Our students range in age from 5 to 85, and include beginners, those with some sailing experience, and even advanced racers and Olympic sailors. We offer different courses tailored for children and adults, including some specialty courses for women and seniors. So regardless of your ability level, rest assured, we offer a course to fit your needs. Click here to learn more.

Race Training Courses:
We offer racing clinics to both aspiring club racers and experienced performance sailors, who would not normally seek instruction. These courses will be led by a variety of top caliber coaches, including National and Olympic Champions. Click here to learn more.

Corporate Programs:
We offer corporate team building programs to help professional teams integrate and explore a new working environment out of their "power circles.”  Click here to learn more.

Community Programs:
We have set ourselves an ambitious objective to stimulate increased participation in the sport of sailing in the local community. We provide the means for people in the community to learn how to sail at an affordable price and then give them the ability to access boats and enjoy sailing on the St. Johns River.  SailLaser’s mission is to teach people to sail, involve them in the sailing community and give them access to sailboats, regardless of their location, race, gender, religion, physical abilities or economic status. To learn more about these programs, please click here.

Summer Sailing Camp 2010 (June to August):
We offer a Summer Sailing Camp for children 5-17 with brand new equipment and first-class coaches that are specifically selected to teach children. Our Club Manatee offers week long, half-day sessions for 5-7 year olds, giving them the chance to get a taste of sailing while engaging in lots of fun. Our full-day programs for 8-17 year olds include Beginner, Intermediate and Racing courses held over two-week sessions. Programs include everything, from lunch to lifejackets, and the focus is on learning and improving in a fun and safe environment.  For more information on our Summer Sailing Camp Programs, click here.

Access to Boats:
We are happy to unveil our JustSail Program within SailLaser Jacksonville, whose members can use our fleet of boats daily. Now you don’t need to own a boat to enjoy sailing! To learn more about JustSail, click here.
